You may have already noticed the odd Christmas book review sneak in in the last few days, and you may be thinking, but its still over 2 months away. Well you would be completely correct, however the book publishers have already started to release this years Christmas books, and they will be all the way into December.
So besides me trying to decide whether to panic at the sheer amount of fabulous sound Christmas stories being published this year, knowing I still have some left over from previous years on my kindle, or cheer because I can start celebrating this holiday very early this year.
What I can tell you is possibly as far as early January, I will be reviewing Christmas books fairly regularly, and hoping to make this a blog full of Christmas spirit. If you really do feel this is too early, please return closer to Christmas, and check out all the books I will have already reviewed!
The question is when picking what books to read over Christmas, is where on earth do I start? They all sound fantastic...
... well I know that from 23rd to 29th November, I will be publishing my reviews of Christmas titles that are published by digital publisher Carina, in an event I am calling #CarinaChristmas. For more information check out this page
.. from 1st to 11th December I will be taking part in #HarperXmas which is being run thanks to Books With Bunny to celebrate all the Christmas books being released by Harper Impulse (who you may have seen featured on my blog before).
And before those dates the blog will be a mix of whatever Christmas books I can get my hands on, plus some other reviews, so I don't completely overdose on eggnog and good cheer!
Top 3 Christmas Books in series/or sequels I'm looking forward to:

ReplyDeletejane
Wow that must be fun, being able to stay Christmassy all year. So long as I have time this year, I hope to read and review How to Stuff Up Christmas. If you get there first please let me know what it's like.

ReplyDeleteRachel this is one mighty list. I was kinda missing all the christmassy posts from Sophie's Christmas in July, no more. You got a brilliant list here and I am looking forward to what Team Bookouture and all you lovely Bloggers have in store for the readers. There's one particular festive read that's caught my fancy and would love to have in paperback it's Lisa's 12 Dates to Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAgain Great selection of festive reads.
It is going to take a few weeks for the blog to become almost fully Christmassy, and I will still have some other reviews popping up. I read 12 Dates to Christmas last year as the complete e-book and loved it, so sure you will enjoy once it is out,
DeleteLooking forward to your top three the most. I love reading Christmas books. I usually start beginning of November.
ReplyDeleteI half wish I cold wait until November, and that was my general idea before I started blogging. But I can't wait with this years schedule!
DeleteThat's the advantage of being a guest blogger
DeleteThat;s true Tanya. I'm sure I could have waiting until November but there are just too many books I want to read, blogging or not!
DeleteHun, you know best I'm obsessed with Christmas books and can read them all throughout the year. But usually enjoy them September to January. & really can't tell you which release I'm most excited about, as I'm so excited about them all. :) Ana @ThisChickReads
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I know all about your completely justified Christmas obsession. I know that feeling about being excited about them all, any story sounds better with a good does of Christmas in it!
DeleteFab giveaway Rachel, one of the books I'm looking forward to reading this Winter is I'll Be Home for Christmas by Roisin Meaney
ReplyDeleteSharon @ShazsBookBlog
Also looking forward to the Roisin Meaney, but I haven't read any by her yet (have a group of them on my kindle though!)
DeleteChristmas Ever After by Sarah Morgan as it's the final instalment in the Puffin Series.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of fab Christmas books being released at the moment we are all in for a great festive reading season
That is definitely one worth looking forward too. I have read it, and loved it.
DeleteI'm looking forward to Jenny Hale's Christmas Wishes and Mistle Toe Kisses and both Jenny Colgan's Rosie Hopkins #2 and #3.
ReplyDeleteYou have got some great reads coming to you, if you get to read those 3. Loved all of them.
DeleteI don't tend to read Christmas novels until at least October but then I'm all over it! Got quite a few on my TBR list at the moment :) Great post! Laura @lauranazmdeh
ReplyDeleteNever Kiss a Man in a Christmas Jumper by Debbie Johnson, with all the Bridget Jones hype out there- this is the one for me! I just loved the Christmas jumper scene.
ReplyDelete@kohsamuirosie on twitter
Ah yes the Christmas Jumper scene, will be interesting what Debbie Johnson makes of them!
DeleteJust a brilliant selection - how could you choose one?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, but of the ones I have read so far, my favourite currently is A Miracle at Macy's which didn't even feature on this post!
DeleteSo many to chose from but I'm really looking forward to The Winter Wedding by Abby Clements. Sounds really good to me!
ReplyDelete@SheerieF
