Dean Baxter was everything a sensible thirty-two-year-old teacher should avoid. Five years younger, cocky, with a playboy reputation. Oh and guardian to Tom, one of her most promising students. But Lia was a rebel at heart.

Lia Stapleton was everything that was out of reach for an uneducated garage mechanic who’d made too many mistakes. Cambridge-educated, gorgeous and from a well-heeled background, she was his brother’s teacher. But Dean couldn’t resist her.

As Dean and Lia’s tentative relationship begins, can it survive Tom’s disapproval, her parents’ interference. And the dangerous return of his past.

They say opposites attract, but in Lia and Dean's case, they not only attract, but combust with ridiculous levels of heat.  This is sexual attraction in play at its finest, and I for one relished reading it.

I thoroughly enjoyed every single scene that Lia and Dean were in together. The tension and attraction between them is off the charts, even if they try their hardest to deny it initially.

And Dean is a character with many many layers to him, and I was completely and utterly hooked on discovering every last thing about it. And his dynamic with brother Tom, was very interesting too, and far better than Lia with her sister Grace.

This is classic Kathryn Freeman with an added level of well everything, it is exactly what I have come to lvoe from this author but with added hints of danger and adrenalin too, after all Dean does appear to be a bit of a rough and ready type, and is just so so sexy, but also seems to be hiding something that could be sinister.

I just loved every single second of this book which I devoured. And I can't wait to see who will be featured in the next book in this series.

Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
