Well good question, and it’s one that is raised all over the world by totally different people from all walks of life thousands of times every year. I am normally asked, can you see them, are they real, can you hear them, speak with them?, all very interesting and very relevant questions for someone like me, a reluctant physic medium.
Classified as (phenomenon not subject to the laws of nature) it’s understandable and not surprising that some people question this unusual subject, but all I can say is that I live with this paranormal situation, some may call it a curse, but it feels all very normal to me, it has too, it’s been with me since the day I was born, and it’s not going to leave until I die! At times It’s not nice living with spirit screaming in your ear, calling you when you least expect it, turning the lights on and pulling the duvet off in the middle of the night, just to get your attention, then again, I am also asked by many people ,why they can’t see or hear them. The truth is we are all born with the physic gift, all of us, just because someone has the ability to see, hear or sense spirit, does not make them any different from anyone else, far from it, we are all the same, it’s just that some are more sensitive to the beautiful and of course sometimes, nasty spirits that wander around looking to try and contact someone they have left behind in our world or latch on to you to make you and your family terribly unhappy. I have viewed hundreds of such situations on various sites like YouTube, some yes I would discount, but most of them are real, why so you ask? That’s because It’s exactly the same as what I see.
The internet as I have just said, especially YouTube is full of verified ghost/spirit sightings, all of course caught on camera, and the public's thirst for the paranormal is rising every year, as is the thousands of ghost attacks, demonic spirits causing havoc, and spirit apparitions, being reported which are making headlines, and filling adult television viewing time.
Some of the biggest block buster films which rake in millions every year at cinemas all around the world are based on true stories, and it’s hard to imagine anyone, however good their imagination to come up with some of the stuff they show, I remember watching Ghost, and thinking, oh goodness, they have totally got this right!! A view shared all around the world when the box office takings went through the roof.
The public, television programme and film makers are so excited and interested in this unexplained spiritual activity that hundreds of new films and series are being made every year, in England Most Haunted is the most popular, and in America, Ghost Hunters, and Ghost adventures are high in the most watched rankings.
But back to me and my thoughts, well really, as a person reading this little ditty, as I always say, it’s up to you, I live with my partner who believes in absolutely nothing, which actually is great, because it keeps me very grounded, and when at times, he does experience very unexplained paranormal experiences, ( just like those in Linda Bellingham’s old house) which does shock and frighten him, the next day, he just shakes it off as nothing, and that’s ok, he can, because that’s just him!!!!
But I always say to people, you have the choice, it’s your decision, you make your own mind up, I have because this is the life I live, and I know I have touched many people over the years, showing them, and helping them accept and acknowledge what has been planted in front of them from the spirit world. Which is why in the first place I wrote my book Secret Demon. I have in my life experienced some vile, evil and nasty spiritual and paranormal experiences like having to face up to a demon, some which have stayed with me and my children still, but I have also had some very beautiful and amazing experiences, like meeting my beautiful grandmother who I never knew, she visited me one night on the anniversary of her birthday, which I still chat about even now. So it’s up to every individual to make their mind up on this subject, some believe, some don’t, well that’s your prerogative, I know which way I go, but hey I should , it’s my life!! Once again the Murphy household is in chaos, and on top of that a rogue Demon is on the loose and has taken up residence on the estate, with dire consequences. Tom is still working away, leaving Patsy alone and struggling with day to day living and her own Demon. Megan has a very important cooking exam to pass, but money is short for the ingredients. Bonfire night, which is the biggest night of the year is approaching fast, and Patsy cooks for the whole street, and on top of that the family have the worry of being evicted from their house, as they are being relentlessly bullied by the local police Sargent who now knows the families secret.
