FYRE FESTIVAL meets ONE OF THE GIRLS in this psychological thriller with twists you'll never see coming.
'It's the hottest ticket in town. But once you're in, there's no getting out.'
Jody, Ari and Carla have won golden tickets to the summer’s hottest music festival, which promises to be full of glamour, mystique and lots of freebies.

But, arriving on the sun-drenched shores of a private Greek island among influencers and celebrities, the trio are dismayed to find the small festival site far from the beacon of music, art and ‘immersive experiences’ they were promised. Disappointed but not deterred, they vow to make the most of the trip.

But when a shocking discovery on day three turns the festival into a nightmare, the girls find themselves trapped on the island with no escape…

The queen of the claustrophobic psych thriller is back with yet another wonderful book.

I had absolutely no idea if I could trust Jody, or her friends, but I did agree that something was not quite right at this music festival in Greece. She is rather paranoid which is understandable given what she has been through, and it makes her a slightly unreliable narrator.

She has a lot of voices in her head at all times, mainly other people's and thus it is hard to really know Jody's own mind at times.

I absolutely loved the descriptions of the festival, as dire as it was,  and I really wasn't sure who to trust at any point. Nor did I guess what the outcome would be. I do like an unpredictable book and this is definitely one of those.  And with it being set over a four day festival (at least the bulk of the action), with no way off the island, once things start to go from weird bad to properly bad I couldn't put it down.

A brilliant story that I was definitely hooked on.

Thank you to Avon and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily
