Cover Reveal - The Best Boomerville Hotel by Caroline James

She's back..........

....and with a brand new book, and a brand new publisher too...

.. its the one and only Caroline James and the long awaited (by me at least) new book The Best Boomerville Hotel.

I feel like I have been waiting ages for this, and today I am finally able to reveal the cover and blurb of this new book.

I know I will be first in the line on publication day to pick up a copy (ok I will have it on pre-order, or more likely also have a review copy but you know what I mean!)

So here it is............

Let the shenanigans begin at the Boomerville hotel …

Jo Docherty and Hattie Contaldo have a vision – a holiday retreat in the heart of the Lake District exclusively for guests of ‘a certain age’ wishing to stimulate both mind and body with new creative experiences. One hotel refurbishment later and the Best Boomerville Hotel is open for business!
Perhaps not surprisingly Boomerville attracts more than it’s fair share of eccentric clientele: there’s fun loving Sir Henry Mulberry and his brother Hugo; Lucinda Brown, an impoverished artist with more ego than talent; Andy Mack, a charming Porsche-driving James Bond lookalike, as well as Kate Simmons, a woman who made her fortune from an internet dating agency but still hasn’t found ‘the One’ herself.

With such an array of colourful individuals there’s bound to be laughs aplenty, but could there be tears and heartbreak too and will the residents get more than they bargained for at Boomerville?

‘Britain’s answer to the Best Marigold Hotel! Book me in for Sharing with the Shaman and Clairvoyance in mid-life – this book is fabulous!’
Nikki Ashton, Amazon best-selling author

About Jackie Ladbury

Jackie Ladbury was desperate to become a journalist when she left school but was ousted within minutes on the day of the exam at her local rag because she'd forgotten to bring a pen.

Short and sharp lesson learned.

Her budding writing career was not on hold for long, though, as Jackie found herself scribbling love stories of pilots and 'hosties' while she flew in aeroplanes of various shapes and sizes as a flight attendant herself.

Fast forward a good few years and, after being short-listed in a couple of prestigious romantic writing competitions, Jackie decided it was time to discard her stilettos, say goodbye to the skies and concentrate on writing romantic novels, where the only given is a guaranteed 'happy ever after.'

Cover Reveal - A Prosecco Christmas by Sylvia Ashby

Today I'm revealing a cover purely because I liked the title of the book! A Prosecco Christmas, isn't that what most people need to get through the day.

And what better time to spend with your family than Christmas week?

Ashley and Giacomo go to Upper Swainswick, a postcard village ten minutes’ drive from Bath, to stay with Ashley’s mum and step-dad. It’s their last visit before the arrival of their first child.
But babies have a habit of being unpredictable.
So when Ashley goes into labour on Christmas Eve, three weeks ahead of schedule, it takes everyone by surprise.
She’s not ready! Her perfect Birth Plan is packed away in her hospital bag two hundred miles away, she has no going home outfit, and she has a live event planned on New Year’s Eve for her YouTube channel, The Sinking Chef. People have been signing up for it for weeks. She can’t possibly disappoint them on the last day of the year. What is she to do?

The tinsel gets even more tangled when Giacomo’s parents decide to fly from Italy to meet their first grandchild. Hotels are fully booked, so everyone has to stay under the same roof.
Would eleven people in the house, not counting the baby, turn out to be simply too much for Ashley?"

As you may have noticed in the past, I am a massive Rebecca Raisin fan. So when I spot a facebook status asking for helpers for her new cover reveal I just had to say yes... even though I was supposed to be checking out of a hotel at the time!

I am absolutely delighted to be able reveal the cover of her new book - The Little Perfume Shop Off The Champs-Élysées.....

What a lovely Parisian looking cover it is too... so let's check out the blurb and other important info about the book!

What is French for falling in love?

When Del leaves small town America to compete in a perfume competition in Paris, she thinks it is just the next step on her five-year-plan. It’s an exciting opportunity. What started out as just a dream for Del and her twin sister is nearly in her grasp. If she wins this competition, they are on their way to opening their very own perfume boutique!

Arriving in Paris, watching the sun glinting off the Seine and wandering the Champs-Elysees, Del discovers the most perfect perfumery she’s ever seen. Yet, as the competition dawns Del realises that whilst she might have had the best nose in her small village, her competitors seem to know more than she could ever have dreamed. This competition isn’t going to be easy…

Del has the romance of Paris to sweep her away from her worries, but as the competition heats up, so does her desire for that which she cannot have! If only the dashing owner Sébastien didn’t smell so seductive, look so handsome and make her heart flutter like it never has before. They say love smells as sweet as a red rose in bloom, but Del would tell anyone that true love can’t be bottled – it’s beautiful and unique to everyone…even herself. With everything on the line for her future, can Del really let a little attraction get in the way of securing her dreams?

Cover Reveal - The Secrets Between Sisters by Annie Lyons

Having met the lovely Annie Lyons a few times, and since I enjoyed Life or Something Like It when I read it earlier in the year, I was flattered to be asked if I wanted to reveal her new cover.

Some of you may know the book as Dear Lizzie, but it has been given a makeover and a gorgeous new title and name.

So here it is...the debut of The Secrets Between Sisters

Two sisters. Twelve letters. One year that changes everything.
A story that will make you laugh and cry, the perfect book to read as the nights grow colder…

Lizzie and Bea Harris were always very close. They were sisters and nothing could tear them apart. Until Bea dies at the age of thirty-five, leaving her sister twelve letters and a mission that will change Lizzie’s life forever.

Alone for the first time Lizzie is left trying to pull together the pieces of a life she has for so long ignored. With Bea’s list of last requests, Lizzie has a chance to finally find a place for herself in the world - out from under the shadow of her sister.

I love the look of this cover, especially the colours, and think the new title probably sums up what the book is about a bit easier. Of course I haven't read it yet, but really do hope to fix that at some point in the near future.

But soon Ava finds herself reluctantly needing something from Sam. He’s quick to help, but she’s in for a nasty shock… Will she be able to keep her promise? And if she does, might this be the Christmas her dreams come true?

Curl up with this gorgeous, festive read – the perfect treat for fans of Katie Fforde, Carole Matthews and Trisha Ashley.

This book sounds right up my street and given I love Sue Moorcroft, I suspect there will be a review on Rachel's Random Reads in due course. Such a pretty cover too, really looking forward to this.
