It’s Summertime at The Cornish Confetti Agency!

When Lexie Harrington is asked to co-ordinate Kat and Dylan’s ‘English village fête’ wedding, she’s determined that this time everything will go according to her carefully laid plans; no ice bucket challenges, no whoopee cushions, and absolutely no googly eyes attached to everything in sight!

With gorgeous journalist-cum-wedding columnist Theo Barker to offer a helping hand, Lexie is optimistic that she can deliver the fairy tale wedding her clients have always dreamed of…. until the best man Noah is targeted by a loose hosepipe, the wedding rings go walk-about, and his beloved scarlet Porsche takes on a distinctly unpleasant aroma.

Can Lexie and Theo uncover what’s behind the mysterious goings on, or will the Cornish Confetti Agency be forced to close its doors to the future brides and grooms of glorious Cornwall?

An uplifting, feel-good story perfect for the summer holidays, and the second book in The Cornish Confetti Agency series.

Cornwall... confetti...chaos...chuckles, yup all the c's are present in this incredibly entertaining new book in the Cornish Confetti Agency series.

It is great to see the chaotic Lexie attempt to have another wedding go smoothly, all she has to do is follow the pre-supplied check lists and do everything on them, what on on could go wrong.

Well when you have an incredibly obnoxious best man in the wedding party who becomes the target of some funny practical jokes, and a rival wedding agency who seem like they may be out to get the Cornish Confetti Agency... then nothing is as simple as it sounds.

Add in a romantic interest Theo who is her fellow sleuth when it comes to odd wedding related mishaps, but he does keep disappearing leading Lexie no idea what to think about him, and you have all the makings of a great few hours in the sun as you read on.

Oh did I mention the wedding feast, my mouth was watering as it often does when reading a book by Daisy James, so many delicious sounding treats, that I started craving a pain au chocolat and wondering whether to add some to my next online delivery!

Oh and the descriptions of the summer fete themed wedding were  so vivid, I could really picture the scene perfectly and wished I was there too, and so inspired!

This may be the second book in the series but I do feel it can be read as a standalone, although anyone who has read the first story, will be delighted with all the regulars returning including Jasper's waistcoats!

A really quick to read, piece of summer escapism perfect for a world where creative Cornish weddings for a whole village to enjoy, may not be occurring anytime soon in real life.

Thank you to the author for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
